Milein Cosman studied at the Slade in Oxford. She had the first of many solo exhibitions in 1949. She has illustrated books and magazines world wide. Her work has been acquired by the Bristish Museum, The Victoria and Alvert Museum, The National Portrait Gallery, the Ashmolean, the Fitzwilliam, the Hunterian and the Stadt Museum Düsseldorf - her home town. Publications include "Musical Sketchbook:" and "Stravinsky at Rehearsal" and collaborations with her husband, Hans Keller.
