Barbara uses the nude as inspiration for her etchings, screenprints and monoprints. She works directly onto the plate, screen or glass from the model, relating the figure to a visual landscape which grows organically from the marks created.

Barbara originally trained in America but now works as a printmaker in England. She has exhibited in numerous galleries and has work in various private and public collections, as well as being a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
